Steppes & Forest

We conducted a short term study in the Steppe, a grassland that covers about 20% of the country, and the Mountain Forest Steppe. Herders who use the steppes have noticed a change in rainfall patterns and an increase in temperature. We collected sounds in these regions using a grid of sensors to study these soundscapes and climate change indicators.
